Our shop has excellent welding and brazing equipment, from the latest square wave TIG welding machines to Speedflux torches to repair any British frame, using the same method and alloys as originally used during construction of your vintage racecar chassis. We can help you with suspension development; repairs; engine replacement and conversions; ancillary system troubleshooting and development; alignments; and race preparation services. Alignment Services

Alignment-Ground Up with Baseline-Inspect chassis; square the car; document spring rates and shock settings; inspect suspension components; check all rod ends; adjust ride height; adjust bump steer, chassis rake, caster, corner weights, camber, toe in/out; set sway bars. All alignments are performed on a rigid scale platform designed and manufactured by Lindstrand Motorsports to insure accurate alignment and corner weight adjustments. Full documentation of all adjustments plus base line information is provided in an easy to understand format. Parts replaced as necessary to complete the alignment in a professional manner.

Shop Services

Lindstrand Motorsports provides a full line of shop services from minor suspension/chassis rework to complete chassis or monocoque repair. Low carbon steel, chrome moly, and aluminum welding are all performed with the latest generation welding machines. British chassis repairs are completed with careful matching of brazing alloys using the same brazing techniques as their original manufacture. A chassis jig specifically constructed for formula cars is utilized during all frame repairs or restorations.

Racecar Preparation Services

Lindstrand Motorsports can provide you with an affordable race-to-race preparation package. This preparation involves a thorough inspection of the entire racecar utilizing a comprehensive checklist including suspension and drive train components, engine and ancillary systems, and gear changes if necessary. All documentation is included with this service.
